MSSM and Large tanβ from SUSY Trinification
We construct a supersymmetric model based on the semi-simple gauge group SU(3)c × SU(3)L × SU(3)R with the relation tanβ ≃ mt/mb automatically arising from its structure. The model below a scale ∼ 10 GeV gives naturally rise just to the minimal supersymmetric standard model and therefore to the presently favored values for sinθw and αs without fields in representations higher than the fundamental.
متن کاملThe Non-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model at Large tanβ
We present a comprehensive analysis of the Non-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM) for large values of tanβ, the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublets, which arise when we impose the constraint of the unification of Yukawa couplings in the model. In this limit we show that the vacuum expectation value of the singlet is forced to be large, of the order of 10 ...
متن کاملThe Non-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with tanβ ≃ mt/mb
We consider the supersymmetric extension of the standard model with an additional singlet S, the Non-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (NMSSM), in the limit tanβ ≃ mt/mb. We embed this model in a supergravity framework with universal boundary conditions and analyze the renormalization group improved tree-level potential. We examine the relationship between this model and the minimial supers...
متن کاملMinimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
In the minimal supersymmetric standard model, the Higgs sector has two unknown parameters, usually taken to be tanβ ≡ v2/v1 and mA, the mass of its one physical pseudoscalar particle. By minimizing the minimum of the Higgs potential along a certain direction in parameter space, it is shown that mA = MZ + radiative correction, and if one further plausible assumption is made, tanβ > √ 3. If there...
متن کاملMinimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
The quantity RK = Γ(K → eν)/Γ(K → μν) studied by the experiment NA62 at CERN is known to probe lepton-flavour violating (LFV) parameters of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM). A non-zero parameter δ RR can open the decay channel K → eντ and enhance RK over its Standard-Model value. In the region of the parameter space probed by NA62 the contribution from a bino-stau loop diagram i...
